schools will either drop it or drop down a level....the expenses of paying players as employees has a ton of issues. You can't then provide any of the benefits they get now without giving them to all employees and that would be hundreds of millions of dollars. Anybody who thinks that players should be paid has never had anything to do with HR and certainly never owned a business.
