Taking into account scoring statistics alone the key match-up will be our offense vs the Pirate defense.

BYU is 3rd-to-last (128th) in the country in points for, however ECU is dead last (130th) in points against. If we can't score on the Pirates I am not sure we can score on anyone else.

On the other side of things ECU's offense is not much better than ours statistically. They definitely have had better offensive showings (two 30+ point games). However, they still rank 107th in points-for. We are ranked 78th in points against. We do need to consider that some of our "points against" have come from multiple pick 6s, so hopefully the offense can keep it clean.

Approximately 70% of ECU's touchdowns come through their passing game. And surprising to me our passing defense is ranked higher than our rushing defense (79th vs 103rd).
