As you mentioned people surrounded by the BYU bubble don't understand how lucky they are. I wish I could say I won't go to this game or that one because I'll get them next week. I've traveled to games all over the country but to have them in Starkville, MS (2.5 hrs) from my house was awesome.

I don't care if they were on a 20 game losing streak...the chance to let my kids see them play was worth it.

Both boys walked away with great memories...neither cared that BYU lost. The father/son time spent was worth it.

AAC give's better access to those of us in the central and eastern timezones. It would be awesome to get them into Tulane, USF and UCF. Plus I loved going to the game last year in Cinci. I thought it was a great atmosphere and I enjoyed the setting.

I don't understand why we can't keep the bigger p5 teams and drop the lower end of the schedule for the AAC. No one would complain to swap UMASS, Liberty, McNess and others for Navy, Houston and Memphis. All much better games even when those teams are down. Add BSU, SDSU and CSU and you have a very strong 16 team national footprint coverage. Is it the SEC no but I think it's strong enough on the top half to make a P6 argument.
