If BYU Admin would allow the football program to use the resources they bring in then the Football program would be fine. My understanding is that BYU football supports the Athletic Department as a whole and other programs within BYU(catering, etc).
I don't believe that the Admin at BYU will willingly relinquish those funds, so we are looking a future of mediocrity.
