If they aren't willing to get on the floor that means they don't care enough about winning and should be challenged by both coaches and team mates. You don't let a team come to your home floor and out hustle you---particularly when you are already at an athletic disadvantage. It was a bad look and that one play seriously caused me to rethink my expectations for the group this year.

I've been trying to not be critical of players in gen pop this year but... I absolutely HATE watching a player not willing to get on the floor for a loose ball. It says a lot about their toughness and commitment to the team.

Message to TJ, Eli, and zac---next time the ball is on the floor.... Get on the floor and rip someone's head off of their body if needed to come up with the ball.

As we've discussed before---nick emery may take some bad shots but there is no question he would be the first guy on the floor and he has never seen a loose ball he wasn't willing to sacrifice his body for.
