Well said, bstod, and i agree with all of it. Points 1, 2, and 4 are most important in part because they are things that can be changed and implemented quickly. Points 1 and 2 may be dependent on one another. As Zac and TJ get more open 3s, Yo will be able to get the more in low block. Yo also has to do what Mika couldn't, which is to kick it out when he should. Childs has been turning it over too much due to forcing it. It's critical to this team's success that Eli shoot fewer 3s and that Zac and TJ shoot more.

Looks like they are trying to get Nixon more floor time if he can avoid foul trouble. Dastrup is coming along now and they should continue to increase his role slowly.

Regarding #3, i hope bigs who don't rebound well can produce more. Not sure how fixable that is in the short term. Certainly, Zac and Payton should be able to improve slightly. They will never be Godzillas.

#6 is another thing that is tough to force. No doubt TJ can play with the energy you call for, but not sure that will fill the leadership gap we have now at the guard line. I believe Eli is the one who has the goods to do that well but he must willingly and enthusiastically return to his pass first mindset. None of BYU's guards are serving to make their teammates better. This team is going nowhere if they don't produce a lot more assists.
