byu did play a part. they went indy and didn't get into the b12.
thats the main reason he left.
along with the 3 mil.
he could not live up to the fans expectations with byu's limitations. fans want a lot at byu. and if they see you at church after a loss they might say something.
the problem is.....any coach isn't gonna be able to meet expectations here in the current landscape. its a sinking ship and impossible job.
