the key is Haws and Bryant...
...those two are the primary ball handlers and when they drive and kick we get open 3's from the corners from guys like Seljaas. But when they instead try to do it themselves and force up tough shots on those drives then it falls on the mercy of the refs as to whether we come out on top or not. Last night we were fortunate that Bryant was sent to the FT line a lot when he drove into a crowd of bigs in the paint and got his shot blocked by multiple people. WE won't get those calls on the road.

We seem to be getting away from the mantra of giving up a good shot for a great shot and the past couple of games it seems we have a couple guys a little too intent on getting shots for themselves (Haws and Bryant) rather than letting the game come to them. If they stick to the goal of beat your man so you can draw another's man away then kick it out to that open man, we'll have open shots. We had some moments of it in the game yesterday but still way too much one-on-one stuff with a contested hard to make shot in traffic while a wide open shooter was in the corner waiting for the kick out.
