...once Holmoe gave him power to hire his own assistants when he came back to BYU in 2013 he made some great hires (Holliday, 2J, Beck, etc). If Kalani doesn't turn things around and ends up losing his job I think Anae would get my vote to be the next HC. He would put together a really good staff and if you look at Lavell's career you see the value having bright and talented assistants can bring to a program.
