They are probably giving him a run on ST to see if he can do it without getting
injured before they spend a ton of time developing him as a QB.
Not saying it’s the only reason, or even the most important reason, but in the back of Peyton’s mind he’s probably wanting to make sure Taysom isn’t going to break when he starts taking NFL hits.
