Two flaws with this troll job
We’re only nine games into the season, so if the UT-Arlington game really is the outlier it seems to be, it’s skewing our numbers.
And, more importantly, rankings matter less than ratings. Our defensive rating last year was 100.5. So far this year, it’s 99.3. Looks like improvement to me, though not conclusively due to small sample size.
