plenty of games against every team except for the top 2 or 3 programs. I laughed when I saw CBers posting things like "Utah is gonna get killed in the Pac-12!!" - yeah? By who, exactly? Sure, USC had some great years under Pete Carroll. And Oregon and Stanford have been good recently. But looking at the conference broadly, most of the programs in the Pac-12 are in "rebuilding mode" pretty much every year.
I think Boise State, BYU (not this year, but most years), and TCU, in addition to Utah, could have entered the Pac-12 seven years ago and done just fine. It's the Pac-12. We're not talking about the SEC, here. Completely different world in regards to college football.
