with him. I still would like to see the Coaches be allowed to handle their own problems within the spirit of the law instead of the Honor Code Office being required to follow the letter of the law. There are differences between Mormons and non-Mormons on teams, differences between those that are already LDS - some from active families and some not, etc., etc., etc. The Head Coach of each sport should know their players best and be able to handle the punishment. I'm not saying that they need to close their eyes to problems, but to handle them using the spirit of the law depending on the situation. I'd love to see the Honor Code Office closed and students to try and learn to stop gossiping about anything and everything. Leave it to those who are most aware of the situation. But these boards breed gossip that isn't helpful to the student athletes. They really need to ignore them. You never know if you're listening to comments from a 10 year old kid or an adult. I think Nick needs to not worry about others' comments.
