Davis was planning to be at LP before Shoff's transferred.
Davis' family? He's the oldest, but his dad went to AF. His younger siblings went to AF/PG, yes, but he was planning to attend LP and had played spring ball with them.
The coaching was my point around them underachieving. They've had the most talented guys a bunch and can never quite get there.
