code incidents, dwindling attendance, Heisman winning hero firing, and a lax environment drawing criticism - then I'd be shocked. He should be alarmed/nervous/anxious for many reasons - personal and professional.
I hope that it causes him to get some advice and make some significant changes in the program. (referring to operation of the program not coaching)
Whether that is from Andy Reid, or some other guy who is successfully running an organization, or even a past BYU coach, I hope Kalani is getting a better handle on how to handle discipline, effort, team building, etc. I know if I had a very high paying job at my ala mater, and was failing in a very public way that I'd be seeking counsel from mentors.
I do think Kalani has a LOT of great qualities. I hope he can turn this around and that requires doing things differently.
