One more time.... The fact of the matter was (and this is fact) that Larry called Dave Rose to discuss "the incident." And again, Rose never called back. While a sincere apology from Emory at the time would have been appropriate (but didn't happen either), Larry tried to sort it out with Rose and got no response. THAT was really the final straw for Larry.
And speaking of Emory, why the need to apologize after all this time has passed? Could it be that he was out of line at the last game and afterward? And this had been weighing on him?? After all this time could he be the one that was in the wrong?Hmmm. Perhaps the real narrative here is that he finally got handslapped rather than molly coddled, even if it was from a rival. Good job Larry!
In the end, Larry and Emory are in a better place than before. So funny you folks aren't and never will be with Larry. With everything going on in your sports world (no P5, fanbase crucifying BYU legends, legend(s) getting fired, deteriorating football), I'm quickly determining that BYU Nation is the least happy fan base in America. Hopefully for your wellbeing, Saturday night will give you some needed therapy - until the final score.
