1) Who does Grimes "hire" as assistants? Will they truly be HIS hires or will KS, TH, or BYU force him to hire certain individuals?

2) Has a shift happened with the BOT? Are they realizing that hiring inexperienced first time coaches (which result in a 4-9 season) is a recipe that will not make BYU football the tool they are hoping for?

I think this hire (at this point in time) is a clear showing that BYU isn't considering dumping the program anytime soon. It feel like everyone is doubling down on making this a successful program.
