and actually coach....not just recruit or take attendance at the academic lab in the SAB.
I don't want to see a BYU living legend leave Provo under these circumstances and have it cloud his legacy and taint the memories of the fans....especially the "what have you done for me lately" millennials who have only seen him play on old re-runs and highlight clips and expected ridiculously instant magic/results.
Ty deserves....and has absolutely earned the right to leave Provo -- when that day comes -- with his head held high and his dignity and legacy intact. I think continuing to coach on this staff in a meaningful way would help smooth over a LOT of bad feelings on the staff, in the locker room and in CougarNation.
I get that I'm probably mostly alone in wanting to not see this BYU great dragged through the mud anymore by this debacle of a season.
