The best thing I heard was that he remembers what it was like adjusting Anae's offense to the personnel at BYU. BYU is unique in that (a) you are somewhat limited in your access to certain personnel, and (b) turning around the talent on the roster is a very slow process. So Jeff mentioning personnel indicates he understands that he only has so many directions he can go with the system.
The immediate issue of concern is his emphasis on running the football. Doman & Ty learned the hard way that BYU doesn't generally produce the OL necessary to push around P5s week in & week out. I know dedication to the running game can be a cliche by many coaches, despite their actions/play calls demonstrating other priorities. The truth is that a BYU physical run game is effective when it supports an effective passing game, or when BYU is flat out more talented than the other team. Hopefully Jeff learned this from Dr Bob, and will build his system in a similar fashion.
