That's not the issue.
Emery and Haws used to push the game to the point it's a detriment and the only explanation I have is that they both thought their abilities merited it. They didnt. Despite being great in high school, success is never guaranteed at the next level, and all conference in the wcc as a freshman isn't the same as being all-world. The fact they have achieved some of their potential, unlike heaps your view, doesn't mean they didn't have a similar inflated sense of self, as evidenced in my view by on the floor decisions and evidence of not taking coaching. There are other signs of immature decision making off the floor but I'll chalk those up to being 20 something. Again I think reality is setting in and both are maturing. Haws doesn't look like he's forcing it as much. I'd hope on his return Emery also plays within the system.

I could be wrong as I'm just a guy reading the same, likely inaccurate news reports as everyone elsenand making assumptions based on incomplete info. But I do think the lp3 hype had to go to their heads.
