These current loses are all about laying a big turd on the field this season. Why so many fall-throughs all at once? I think Kalani just did a wise thing in this last stretch of the recruiting. He called up all the kids who he knew were wavering--& got them to either reaffirm the commit or wished them well.
I think Kalani & staff are all about buckling down & getting some good recruits in these last couple months -- kids that have been entirely off their radar till now.
Fault Kalani for being soft on coaching--but I think it's obvious he's a relentless worker. He just needs to find a tighter system of discipline & accountability. When it comes to recruiting, though, I trust he'll put in all the extra hours to get it done right. He's already proven that much to me.
