anyone that takes a strong stance against any and all DUIs particularly when they’ve been affected by someone who was drinking. I am pretty harsh on DUIs as well because I was hit by a drunk driver when I was in high school. The guy who hit me was absolutely smashed though. Couldn’t even speak.

.09 is not very impaired and I can kind of give someone a pass for getting behind the whee because at .09, they feel completely normal and probably would be surprised their BAC is above the legal limit. Someone driving at .09 isn’t a much larger risk at harming anyone on the road than the ordinary teenager. Still dumb to drive though. Want to make that clear.
