Last night we got the eaves done on the dormers. This morning we had to make the 30 mile drive into Riverton, Wy to pick up more Lumber. We then proceeded to use most of it building the a beam and the ceiling for the front porch. It will extend along the full length of the house. I thought we had enough to finish the roof of the porch too, but we were a little short. I will have to make another trip to town tomorrow. I think I like the angle we chose too. You can see we laid out one of the 2x6s to make a pattern for the rest of the porch roof boards. We will ad support as well to each long 2x6 and bolt them into the house trusses. I have decided to sheet the top in 1/2 inch OSB as well as the walls. I think I will try to get that done next week.
Busy day. Still so much to do before it snows.
Here are some pictures. I took the picture of the back as we were cleaning up, so it is a little dark.
