I know a few people with the mentality of "why would I pay for X (Netflix,
Disney+, Max, etc.) when I can watch Y (YouTube, Roku Channel, PlutoTV, etc.) for free?" Usually these aren't big TV watchers who are fine with "2nd-tier" content that is free. It's not worth the money to pay for any video services so whatever limited content they watch comes via free services like Tubi, Pluto, Roku channel (or YouTube).
