I see chatter about being a 5 seed on here, but all you are doing is setting yourselves up for disappointment and heartache.

1. History shows, the committee low balls BYU.
2. History shows, BYU doesn't perform well in the tourney. One reason the committee penalizes BYU.
3. One and done in the Big 12. The committee will reward teams who demonstrated the ability to win in must win games, and the committee will use it as another data point to validate number 2 above.
4. Not enough big wins in conference play. Just 3-5 in games against opponents that were ranked at the time we played them.

It is what it is. We need to make runs in the Big Dance. That builds credibility that then gets rewarded with high seeding.
