I flew almost every week for over a decade for work. I built up the SkyMiles, got the upgrades, had clear and TSA precheck, rented enough cars to always choose what I wanted, and had the system down pretty solid to make traveling nice and easy.
Now, I no longer have TSA precheck or Clear. I get to go the airport like a peasant and just take my turn in long lines while I have no real hope up even an upgrade to Delta+.
I guess I should be grateful that I am leaving from gate A33 and don't have to take the monster walk that people are talking about.
I assume I should be there at least 3 hours before my scheduled departure since it is a domestic flight. Maybe 3.5 hours to be safe.
