It seems that most officiating is garbage in basketball. There's just so much inconsistency from game to game, half to half, team to team. Byu sure seemed to be on the short side of the stick this year. Most teams were able to abuse byu and byu wasn't allowed to reciprocate, for whatever reason. Today was a prime example. Hall blindsided over the back and elbowed in the nose, no call. Spencer hockey checked, no call. Waterman punched in the face, double tech? All while their D can hold and grab and not let our players be free to move. There were so many games like this this year. Utah, Baylor, Iowa St, duquesne, etc. It's no wonder byu lost all those games. It's the one aspect of this sport that sucks. And it sucks the most because there's nothing that will ever be done about it.
