In 1945 World War II ended. 39 years later, BYU won the national championship in 1984. 39 years after that, in 2023, BYU joined the Big 12. Time has flown. And crawled. We are in the big league now, and it's time to get real about football.

Time to recruit the nationwide fan base we sold the Big 12 and have players that come from all over the country, not just Timpview and Springville. Time to bring in the best LDS athletes from across the country. Fully HALF of the roster was from Utah the last 2 years. Not at all representative of the Student Body. And most of the starters came from the Transfer Portal and not from High School recruiting. Time to develop some athletes. If we keep milking the transfer portal we will never recruit another good high school athlete.

Time to get real about football.
