Table watching the game on a monitor. His job would only be to make calls where a quick replay is necessary. If a ref doesn’t see it or not sure, he signals for the sideline ref to review. He watches the tape. If it’s obvious, he makes the call. If it’s not, he can call the others over to help with a thorough review.

Would speed up the review process and make it so if a ref isn’t sure in the moment what the right call is he can lean on a quick review without having to waste five minutes to stop the game.
