I felt this way with Gobert at times and Edey too. Times when they don't catch it cleanly, go up and get it stripped, or clearly travel, the refs bail them out a lot. I think it's because the refs see them like a baby calf who can't walk and needs assistance.

It was borderline embarrassing watching Rudy with the Jazz when he would just bobble the ball and then drop it and flail and they'd bail him out...for no reason other than 'yikes that's gonna be embarrassing if I don't call this."
