If there's big men that can score against height underneath, it takes the
pressure off of the guards and defenses can't play so tight outside. The guards will be better with more underneath threat.

The 3 point shooting woes won't be as detrimental because they can work the ball underneath for higher percentage shots. This will loosen up defense on the 3 point line.

BYU was too one dimensional. That is why defenses were able to put heavy pressure on the guards. The only way to change that is to make them less one dimensional.
