For a spring break trip, Mexico provides good bang for the buck
and I like how quickly they process you through customs upon arrival.

Two things I hate:

1) The absolute chaos at the airport once you've retrieved your checked bags and are trying to navigate the ground transportation situation (even if you've reserved it in advance, it's always confusing/stressful trying to figure out where you're supposed to go).

2) Once you've checked into a resort, having to sit down with someone trying to push you into attending a time share sales pitch (super annoying as you end up having to say "no thanks" a million times upon being offered "free" resort credits, spa treatments, excursions, special meals/tours, etc.).

With regard to the second point, has anyone found a way to politely avoid having to go through this?
