I enjoy the classic 1984 Dune. It isn't a great or amazing movie by any stretch
but it has its moments and is a good "cliff notes" version to help people better understand the new ones.
It is funny to me how many scenes, especially in Part One, are almost exactly like the same scene in the 1984 version. Also how most of Dune part 2 is covered in two or three lines of exposition in the classic 1984 version.
