another analogy - the new NIL is like tipping the pizza delivery guy or the
parking attendant. Its kind of an absurd business model in any situation. I already paid for my pizza, so just let the pizza store fairly compensate the delivery guy out of what I paid them for my pizza. Or add on an extra delivery fee and pay them extra from that.

There is nothing morally wrong about setting up a culture like that, its just kind of strange.

But I am fine with it. I am not wealthy so I don't pay a lot in, but I pay small amounts to the collectives and join on the lowest level of cougconnect because I want BYU to do well.

But I often don't tip at a fast food restaurant even though the payment program asks for it.
