Not an expert. Just went there to check out the MBA program and I know it was

surrounded 15 years ago with sketchy areas, but was definitely a beautiful campus. But fairly sure it is surrounded by sketch. But maybe they bucked the trend of the rest of California and have improved the area around campus. Possible I admit, but I'd be surprised.
