He's not really the shooter/scorer we need in the backcourt, anyways. (Assuming Jax ain't returning.) In a world without Blue-n-Red, I'd take Mason over Knell, but that ain't happening. I wouldn't take him over Baker, Hall, Chandler or Richie, though.
If Trey is indeed on the move, I'm not expecting that schollie to be earmarked for a high-end utility guard like I think Mason is. Could he develop into something more? Sure. But it's not a sure enough deal to spend on w one of our rather precious schollies right now.
Even if he WERE an open option for us right now (which he most surely is not. He's a yewt).
