my wife and i bought a condo in 2005 for $217k. that same condo today is about

$265k. We did a deed in lieu in 2010 and it sold at auction for $45k. one of the worst timed purchases of my life. i started law school in 2006. we had a chance to sell it for what we paid for it in 2006 but we decided to hold onto. we were just compiling bad mistakes at that point.
