There are a lot of arguably great players of all time, but I can’t think of a single argument that excludes those two.

Now, if we start throwing qualifiers like modern era, no pitchers, no juiced players etc., then the conversation changes. But since all we have to compare are stats, I can’t see how those two guys are left off. And, as much as I hate to say (and I do), Bonds probably has to be on the list too.
