I received information through email repeatedly. I received multiple phone calls. BYU did great. The issue isn't the execution.
The issue is hurt feel bads for people that were getting a seat for far under market prices. BYU is grateful for your loyalty. However, "you" (those complaining) were receiving better seats than people that had been ticket holders for equally long or longer that were willing to pay much more than you. BYU provided the information for what would be required to likely keep the seats. The complainers opted not to do what was necessary.
They weren't the only people that had owned season tickets for years or decades... I've had season tickets for every year for the last 23 years and half the years for the 12 years before (missed 6 years I lived thousands of miles from Provo).
