The mom was horrified and embarrassed when she learned it was her daughter, it's why she understandably deleted the FB post after posting the first time out of anger and emotion. She just put up another post apologizing for her rant and that some good conversations have been had and a tough lesson learned. She did inform the cops it was her daughter and they're aware. She's making her daughter cover up the slurs.

Turns out she was being an idiot teenager and did it off a dare from her friends. The parents of her friends are making them assist the daughter in covering up the slurs and painting over them. There's a couple of families in our neighborhood who would have every right to be more justifiably upset by what'd happened. The Mom took her daughter with her over to their houses and apologized. One of the Dads had no idea what had happened and was very kind about it.

The other family was incredibly humble. The daughter was a wreck and burst into tears. Credit to the Mom here for doing the right thing and doing her best to turn this into a teachable moment and credit especially to the few families in our neighborhood who took the apologies with grace and forgiveness.
