Individual level instead of team level. I don't care about championships, etc. Especially when you're comparing completed careers to a player who just turned 25.

I look at it like I'm a talent scout looking at the best players to draft and not how good their teammates that they played with were, like a mount Rushmore player like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, playing with magic, etc.

Luka would have dominated most 80s point guards.

I've watched Luka head to head for many years now against Curry and definitely would take Luka. He just looks like the more dominant and all around player. Steph is helpless to defend him, more so than Luca is helpless to defend steph.

After this season, a young Luka will have gotten First Team all NBA point guard over Steph Curry 5 years in a row(!) Even while steph put up some of his best numbers during those years and was still in/near his prime and playing with peak experience.

Edit* I just looked it up and steph was injured one of those years and one of the years they took steph as a second point guard on the all NBA team along with luca. So luca has beat him out 3 years in a row.

I'm 46 and watched both magic and luka live, and still like to watch old highlight videos of magic as well as Luka highlight videos and I'll take luka. Just my preference.
