Out of the 4-5 people that attended Cooley Law School, every single one of them dropped out. One of the guys didn’t even make it through the first semester, and the strain even lead to him getting divorced during the same time period.
I honestly felt sorry for those guys that moved all of the way to Lansing, MI, only to end up quitting with a good chunk of student debt to repay. A family that I home taught had moved all of the way from Hawaii, and had sold all of their possessions (furniture, appliances, car, etc.) to fund their ill-fated move. The problem is that Cooley lets in pretty much anyone with a college degree, and not everyone with a degree is cut out for law school. Even though Cooley isn’t a very good program, it’s still law school.
