Probably somewhat, but tournament is one and done
You have to look at the full season to consider the body of work appropriately to assess how good a team is
Is NC State a top 8 team. Highly unlikely, but they are getting hot at the right time and have had matchups that have worked out for them for whatever reason. I love the tourney, but a one and done tourney is not an accurate way to judge how good teams are. You have to look at the whole season.
