I bought a new Braun 9 at Costco, but think the 5 I still have is a closer shave
The 9 has 2 middle doo dads and you have to get a perfect 90 degree angle to lift the hair up
The 5 is more like a buzz saw with 1 middle doo hickey between the 2 outer mesh parts of the head. And cheaper
