Guess I’m an old school fan, pay for occasional tix to a game, watch them on TV
and that’s my relationship to BYU. Sure it would be cool if BYU won a “Big game”. I root for them.
But I also root for high school kids who work hard and I definitely don’t want to pay for them to play. I mean we all have our dreams. Whether sports or other careers. I just don’t like the idea of fans somehow having to pay for them.
I know this is the system we now live in. And it won’t go back to just being a student athlete. But I don’t like it at all. And I’m fine with whatever that result may be.
