I have had the worst luck with Apple. Must just be me though. I bought a point
of sale stand and associated IPad.

Created an Apple ID and had to download an update. The update took nearly 2 hours. Finally the thing is ready and I try to download the square app. App store doesn't work and says can't connect.

I call customer support and she says that they are having issues and just keep trying it. I've been using Play store with Google for a decade and not once has it not worked.

We set up an IPad at my house a year ago and it was the same issues. I couldn't use my emails which would be more convenient because I had a phone number attached to them and it didn't have anymore. Customer support couldn't do anything to help. I had to set up a new email that isn't attached to anything else.

I'm guessing if you just have Apple products it is easier with all the same stuff connected to one Apple ID. But for someone like me that needs several accounts for business reasons it is a huge pain.
