To me, it felt like Gilligan was trolling the audience. Every scene took longer
than it should have.
How many extended scenes did we have of uneventful people going about their day?
That ant with the ice cream scene took SIX MINUTES!
I'm 100% convinced that the only reason there are so many defenders is because of BB.
Because it wasn't a "slow burn", it was a troll job.
And don't get me started on the memba-berries.
