heavily travelled highways, such as I-40. The potholes, huge cracks, uneven portions are wreaking havoc on my cars and are pretty dangerous as everyone in both lanes are dodging left and right and sometimes towards each other.

Are we really not able to come up with better material for roads that allow for more hot/cold weather variance without causing the road to just fall apart?

It’s absolutely irritating when states just ignore that beat to death roads.
