My dad ran the Decathlon at BYU in the 80's. He was pretty decent. He was on the record board at the SMF
up until about a decade ago, when he finally got pushed out of the top 10 (I think).
He was on the football team too, I should add. Until he blew his knee out and then just stuck with track and field.
