My theory is we shortened the bench considerably. Players put twice the
Effort on D earlier in the season and I think it was for the following reasons.
1. Played less minutes overall (no need to pace themselves)
2. Could play more aggressively as there was no with if foul trouble.
3. They were fighting each other for minutes and had to go all out on D.
4. The elephant in the room is we played bad teams early.
